Last friday, the after school trip was to Telford Ice Rink. This trip was thoroughly enjoyed by the children who always pounce for the opportunity to go there again. This event was fantastic and all the children had a great time. Again, the club provides an exciting environment for the children to have a change of scenery and meet their friends. Ice Skating gives the children confidence too when skating as some children are scared or don't know how to skate, but with the practice and that reassurance, they succeed and enjoy the event. Again, the therapeutic staff give them the help and support they need whilst participating in the event which helps boost confidence and the morale of the children. Furthermore, this activity was different as not only is it fun, but you learn a skill that you probably didn't know you had before!

 Within our After-school activities, last week the children visited Crystal Leisure Centre, where they had the opportunity to wind down at the end of the week and enjoy the swimming pool and slides. The overall response was outstanding and positive, all the children enjoyed themselves and it gave the opportunity for the children to build stronger relationships with one another. In addition, we had a new child join the club and they settled in with the group well and it was like they have known each other for years! This shows the friendships the children can build by meeting others at our after-school club! Unfortunately due to privacy reasons, we were unable to take any photographs of the children whilst they were there, however, they had a brilliant time!
 Throughout the Easter Half Term, RUOE supported 192 children and their families.
