After a very challenging two years, many families, youth hostels and shelters are struggling financially, making festivities such as Christmas Dinner much harder to afford. This holiday season, we are collecting donations to help us buy turkeys for low-income families. If you would like to give us a hand and give a Christmas Dinner to those who are struggling, please visit our GoFundMe page:
On November 18th, we are holding a session to raise awareness of the dangers young people face when it comes to county lines and gang exploitation. This session will be held at the Regus Building on 84 Salop Street in Wolverhampton city centre, WV3 0SR.
WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE OUR FIRST COFFEE MORNING. THIS WILL BE A GREAT TIME TO CATCH UP WITH PARENT, CARERS AND PROFESSIONALS.
WE WANT TO USE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO FIND OUT THE NEEDS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY AND HOW OUR SERVICE CAN WORK TOWARDS IMPLEMENTING THE THOUGHS AND IDEAS OF PARENTS, CARERS AND PROFESSIONALS INTO THE DELIVERY OF OUR PROJECTS. WE WILL HAVE TWO GUEST SPEAKERS ATTENDING WHO WILL SHARE THERE LIFE STORIES, GROWING UP IN CARE AND GROWING UP AS A CHILD WITH CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR.
WE HOPE TO LEARN, RAISE AWARENESS AND SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER THROUGH THESE SESSIONS. DOMINIQUE WILLIAMS THE DIRECTOR AT RUOE WILL BE ATTENDING THESE SESSIONS IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT THE VIEWS OF OUR COMMUNITY ARE AT THE HEART OF ALL WE DO. COME ALONG AND JOIN US!
are we really FULFILLING our mission in creating a place for every child?
